Engage Purpose is led by Tim Baxter, a governance and engagement specialist with over a decade of experience in the not-for-profit and government sectors.

Tim served as a Councillor and two-term Deputy Mayor for the City of Port Phillip, where he championed inclusive governance, community engagement, and long-term strategic planning.

He’s a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a fellow of Australian Progress’ Campaigning and Advocacy program, and has led membership and engagement strategies for national nonprofits — boosting recruitment, retention, and revenue.

He’s known for building high-performing volunteer teams, strengthening board leadership, and getting things done (without the fluff).
